I have had a very thorough reply about IVF treatment in the Ukraine. It appears that the Ukraine is opening its doors more and more to medical tourism and could certainly be worth consideration as their prices appear reasonable.

Travel and tourism in Ukraine in recovery in 2010
Inbound tourism posted a decline in 2010 as a result of the negative influence from neighbouring countries which are Ukraine’s main source countries. However, both outbound and domestic tourism reflected positive growth in 2010. Outbound tourism benefitted from the growing popularity of international holidays, particularly packaged tours, amongst Ukrainian middle-class travellers. Domestic tourism was chosen by many people who could not travel internationally or were not used to international travel.
Visa facilitation becomes a reality
To make Ukraine more attractive to international visitors, the country’s officials have gone ahead with its visa cancellation policy. Starting in 2010, travellers from Brazil, Mexico, Israel and Bosnia-Herzegovina benefitted from visa cancellation agreements, together with Ukrainians, making it cheaper and easier for these tourists to visit Ukraine and Ukrainians to visit these countries than ever before. This process is expected to continue over the forecast period.
Tourism attractiveness management to become an independent business
Clear Vision campaign in Ukraine was created with the idea that tourist flow increases depend not only on infrastructure, security and customs convenience, but that every state must market its own attractions. Ukraine deployed the informational campaign in 2008 and 2009, aiming to further develop the country’s places of interest and their advertising. Along with this campaign, several cultural attractions were either improved or built in the country, such as Baturin Fortress, Olesco Castle and Kamyanets Cultural Park. These were mainly the result of private investors cooperating with the state with regard to rental conditions and exclusive state property usage rights.
Transportation is developing, but not as quickly as expected
Ukraine’s transportation system is not expected to be rapidly modernised, but some development has begun. The railroad operator has developed a new fast route between Odessa, Vinnitsya, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv. Other land carriers are also trying to attract more travellers through marketing activities, including joint campaigns, developing new routes and expanding representatives’ offices. Air travel is in a consolidation process and an “open sky” agreement is pending. The Privat Group controls four major national air carriers, and it is coordinating its activities to prepare for competition with international air carriers. Internet sales are also expected to bring about innovation in transportation.
Preparations for Euro 2012 are evolving
Euro 2012 is expected to be the main driver of inbound tourism development in Ukraine over the forecast period. To prepare for Euro 2012, the country is significantly investing in infrastructure such as accommodation, stadia, public transport links, airports and administrative services, all of which are creating conditions for the development of the travel and tourism industry. The authorities are paying special attention to the modernisation of airports as these will be the points of arrival for most Western Europeans – who will potentially be the biggest spenders of all visitors. UEFA representatives are monitoring progress to avoid potential delays. However, hotel accommodation and an anticipated language barrier are still problems that need to be dealt with. Euro 2012 is expected to boost Ukraine’s travel and tourism industry not only during the event, but also afterwards through increased awareness of Ukraine as a leisure tourism destination.

The cost of IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine is very acceptable, for example in BioTexCom Medical Center it is from 2, 800 euro to 30 000 euro (egg donation with transfer to surragocy). I had a package for 12 000 euro with IVF for 5 attempts. The first attempt was successful.
Hello, firstly sorry for my bad English, I am Dane. I am in Ukraine now for 4 month for our cost with my baby already because of this clinic! we have big problems with my husband to take our child home to Denmark, I on the point of psychotic meltdown, the La Vita Felice is NOT a CLINIC, it is an AGENCY! I want everyone to hear me, I have cried my rears out, they just left us with the child after its birth by our own. We are providing now a DNA test for paternity to prove that it is our child, we have big problems with our Danish embassy! We had spend a lot of money in 4 month! Soon we will be broken, we asked for help another clinic of Kiev (not naming due to privacy). Be very careful, DO NOT use services of this agency. There are a lot of HIDDEN COSTS!!
There are a lot of agencies in Ukraine which provides services in organization of IVF and surrogacy programs. Some of them isn’t honest. So you need double check with which clinic and lawyers works agency you chose. It’s a pity that we still have such cases as Mitte.

La Vita is not an agency, but a fair and reliable clinic that provide professional services and all agreements and costs are identified and agreed upfront.

Oh, really? A clinic? Very strange… a clinic in a simple building with one little office? We contacted all over the forums and there is a lot of couples who suffered from your service. Please be careful, this might be workers of the La Vita Velice agency writing that they are a success couple, it is just an advertisment, I have all documents and the contract with AGENCY La Vita Velice, if somebody wants proofs, you can leave you mail, I will send all the documents and my story about a big money loss and “good” service of La Vita Velice after that service we nearly have lost our child in Ukraine.

We are totally satisfied with everything they have done for us. Both the clinical services, correspondance, contract, personal approach – everything!
Contracts and agreements has been fulfilled 100% without any delay or extra expenses more than was agreed upfront.
We can truly not find a single bad word about La Vita Felice team – believe us !
This is also why it has been such a chock to read these stories, which 100% is our situation.
We agree that we didn’t think it could take so long time for the danish ministry to handle our application, but this has NOTHING to do with LVF. They have provided us all documentation and paperwork – including extra statements from lawyer etc regarding custody etc.
We have been thinking and thinking all night about these accusations and where they can come from… ?
In Kiev we needed to have the DNA sample performed and we contacted with other companies we found on the Internet, who could do such a test.
We found the company BioTexCom, who can do abroad DNA testing and we made a deal with them regarding the DNA test.
One day they asked if our baby was from a surrogacy, and we confirmed and they asked there she was born. We told them it was in Kharkiv and they asked us if it was LVF, and we confirmed. This is truly the ONLY place we have exposed the LVF name in relation to our case.

We are really really sorry that this is exposed in forums in connection with La Vita Felice name and we will do anything we can do to help having these posts deleted, because LVF company does not deserve these excuses, because it’s not the true story.
When thinking about the posts, it looks pretty much to us that it’s competitors that is accusing a lot of false words to let customers not choose LVF.
In case we wanted to but shame on LVF, we would not choose to expose our names (and they do not even know how to spell our name correct)
Biotex are the only people who can relate our story to LVF name, due to the fact that the danish embassy needed to be witness on the samples taken. And they could see from our baby’s papers that she was born after christmas. And we are not broke – not at all. It has been expensive to live in Kiev, but we are just so happy that everything has been sorted out to our complete satisfaction !
We hope you people accept and understand that this does not come from us ! We will definetely NOT ruin our good, professional and lucky relationship we have with La Vita Felice team. They are part of our family now !
We are ready to do all in our power to stop this abuse of our sitation, names and definitely LVF Center.

I have read all the comments and it looks like a battle between competing clinics, the best way to know the truth is to search the forums for more information as I did and it will be very clear who is right. I suggest to search not only English but also German and Italian forums who is able to read this languages, I found a lot of clear information.

I must admit, if the battle continues I will remove the posting as this is not the reason for the blog. The aim is to allow people to see the prices and offerings from different clinics and discuss their experiences, the last thing I want is a battle between clinics, it’s unprofessional and disturbing.

I am Spanish, at the end of May I will travel to “La vita felice” to sign the contract and start paying, I have the hotel booked and paid for the flight. Now I have doubts go to La Vita Felice. Can someone please be honest and tell me if La Vita Felice is a scam?,
Juan, I hope you are not single parent, because surrogacy for single parents is not allowed in Ukraine. Just thought that I need to comment on that, just in case.

I can understand your concerns, however if this is a battle between two clinics then that would indicate that it is a legitimate clinic. We will be very interested to hear your experiences once you have visited them, and hopefully somebody else will be able to genuinely respond to your concerns.

My hometown is Kharkov, Ukraine, I am a gynecologist, I used to work with agency La Vila Felice, it is not a clinic, but an office, you will be guided to different doctors and local clinics, this agency used to bring foreign clients to me, but I stopped working with this people from La Vita Velice due to their low morality, now I work in Kiev for other fertility clinic.

As far as I know LVF agency does not exist anymore, they have problems with the law and they are considered as cheaters, I have heard that many couples have suffered from their work. I have recently returned from Biotexcom clinic with my daughter. Very happy, and they literally brought me back to life, now I have a reason to live. I was looking for the clinic for a long time before choosing the only one. I was attracted with price, guarantee for success and that it is all included in the price, even accommodation and meals. There are very high level of services and good attitude of managers, the lack of language barrier. The manager and all the medical personnel were very attentive, provided me with all necessary support, helped to organize the documents. Everything was clear and precise from the beginning till the end. All the costs were included in the list. I took the all inclusive with the fixed price. I had three attempts and it turned to be less expensive if I paid one by one. And it is very rarely when the clinic provides the all inclusive with such price. Hi there! I’d like to share my final success after different clinics and failures and losses… I passed my final surrogacy program in Ukrainian center of human reproduction. I have my beautiful daughter and very happy. Concerning price, I don’t remember the cost of one attempt, but if you need you can visit their site and find contracts and that information. They have very attractive packages for very little price comparing with US). I chose all inclusive package. For 29900 euro they propose unlimited attempts, all treatment and medications are included in one price. Moreover they provide you with accommodation, they have villa and hotel near clinic. It was not luxurious, but good enough) And meals are also included in package. As for us it was very delicious Ukrainian food) In airport we were met by their taxi driver, who transferred us to the clinic and hotel. They always provided us with taxi and we hadn’t pay for it. Also we had our English-speaking manager, there was no language barrier) And finally took all responsibilities for child registration. I can tell that we paid only for flights. In Ukraine we were provided with everything we need in foreign country for free. Finally we paid 29900 euro as it was specified in agreement.
The cost of the surrogacy treatment in ukraine is affordable. In ukraine surrogacy clinic will provide best facilities with well experienced doctors.
