IVF Cost at INVICTA, Poland

The same day as I sent my letter requesting the IVF cost, IVF success and IVF procedure at INVICTA in Poland I received the reply below.

I have added the approximate US$ equivalents in red. The price seems good.

The INVICTA website can be found here - the only problem is that I could not get it to display in English even though there is a button for this it just brought up an error!

Thank you for your attention and interest in our fertility clinic. We do most  procedures of fertility treatment available in the world, accordingly to  scientifically based standards. The procedures and treatment of your specific fertility problem should be diagnosed and discussed during your visit  that should be planned on the 1-5 cycle day. Then, after your problem is precisely diagnosed according to your health state (I mean hormonal disturbances – package of 9 hormones), the treatment could be planned,  on this basis we can give you answers like method of treatment, stimulation and if donor egg – number of eggs, make some specification of the donor – we need information like – high, color of eyes, blob group etc .

The cost of typical IVF is about 5000PLN (approx. US$1630) plus cost of medicines about 1500-3000 PLN (approx. US$490 – 978). The patients need usually about 2 to 4 visit and it’s in about 4 to 6 weeks. Success rates is about 80%.

In IVF treatment we don’t have age limit.

We do ICSI procedures with donor eggs, but only donated from young (to 35 years old), healthy (genetically and checked with infectious diseases with no ontological history in family) women. They do it voluntarily and the donation is totally anonymous for both – the donor and the acceptor of eggs. That is the only legal way of doing such procedures in Poland. We do not do the procedure with donor chosen by the patients. Of course the treated woman gets the overall information about age, physical features etc. of the donor but it remains anonymous anyway.

Cost of IVF program with donor egg is 9000PLN (approx. US$2935). And waiting time is about 4-7 month, after qualification visit.

First you should have consultation visit when You decided with the doctor the best method of treatment

If you have your reports, you are kindly requested to bring them with you for initial planning visit. You are warmly welcome to visit the clinic on 1-5 cycle day.

Best regards

In March 2011 I had an update from INVICTA, much of the information is the same, and as you can see the prices have not changed. Here is what I received:

  11. Comment by Rosalind

Hi, Can anybody have IVF treatment in Poland? I live in Australia but my fiance is Polish. This site is really helpful, however, how can I find out more about who can access treatments in other countries?

  12. Comment by admin

    Rosalind,

From what I have come across most countries / clinics will accept anybody no matter where they are from. There are only a couple of countries where this does not appear to be true – and Poland is not one of them. In Ireland some countries will not take non-residents but others will – generally if it is a private clinic they take anybody! Unless stated in the reply on the blog posts you can assume that the clinic will accept you no matter where you come from. The only difference that being an “alien” of the particular country makes is that you do not qualify for any of the subsidized rates that may be available for people resident in the country.

    I hope this helps.

Best of luck, and please let us know how you get on.

    Thanks
    Sue

Thank you very much for the web address – very useful.

    Annie,

I don’t know how good this clinic is for English speakers although their response to my questions was very coherent. They do now have an English version of the website as Susu pointed out so I assume they are targeting an English speaking market and hence must have the capabilities of communicating with them. The best thing could be to give them a call and see how you get on talking to them.

    Best of luck,
    Sue

  19. Comment by Pauline Cook

    Dear Sirs
    Re: IVF treatment!
My name is Pauline Cook, I am 44 years old this year.
My husband is 51 years old.
    I have never been pregnant.
My husband has fathered three children.
My husband had a vasectomy, and then had it reversed.
He was advised that the vasectomy was “successful”, but following a routine semen analysis, it was determined that he had zero sperm.
A urologist and plastic surgeon performed a further reversal procedure, and discovered a lot of scar tissue, and removed it, and initiated some plastic surgery to prevent further scar tissue occurring.
A subsequent semen analysis following further surgery has shown that my husband went from zero sperm to a sperm concentration of 15.6 million sperms per ml, with an effective count to 7.4 million. He was told that he was now potentially fertile.
I was diagnosed as having uterine fibroid, including a pendunculated fibroid, and underwent ‘dual’ surgery, – a myomectomy to remove the pendunculated fibroid and an embolisation procedure to remove the uterine fibroids.
The dual procedure was successful, with ‘before and after’ MRI scans confirming this.
The latest MRI scan conducted on the 07/04/09 stated that “the pendunculated fibroid was now absent” and that, “a 55% reduction in the previously large left sided intramural fibroid”, had been achieved. The report goes on to say that “all the fibroids appearintramural and none appear to be encroaching on the endometrial cavity”. However I would like to do a ovarian reserve fertility testing to know exactly what is wrong with me.
    Can you please advised.
    Best wishes

    Pauline Cook

i want ivf in oland how much does it cost in gbp nd where do i fly from to get there

  23. Comment by admin

    Hi Michelle,

To get the current rates you can put the PLN prices given above in a currency converter such as http://www.xe.com/ucc/.

If you are flying from the UK most of the airports will fly in to Warsaw using Ryan Air, EasyJet or the like. Check out the airport that is closest to you.

    All the best,
    Sue

  31. Comment by My Vasectomy

Maybe you want to keep yours but other women do not. They decide they want another child for whatever reason or for relief of Post Tubal Syndrome. Women come from all over the world to have Dr. Berger perform their tubal reversal surgery as he is one of the best tubal reversal doctors available. Not only that, but he does it at an affordable tubal reversal cost as well.

Hello. I am interested in egg donation. The questions I would like to get answers are:

How long is waiting time before a treatment?

How much egg donors you have to choose between?

What is the price for egg donation program?

    Are you freeze the embyos?

How much ( in proc.) of frosen embryos survive a thinning process?
