The prices appear very good and they have answered all of my questions directly so I felt that it was worth adding to my IVF shortlist.

Quite some questions:
 
1. Average take home baby rate is a bit higher than 25%. Average age of our patients is more than 36 years old.
 
At the age of 43, success rate is lower than 10% and even in succesfull treatments, abortion rate is increased.
 
2. We preform 700 cycles per year
 
3. There is no limit in age, but we suggest older patients not to go into programe. It also depends on their hormonal status…..
 
4. I do not know, which cases you have in mind. We treat those cases, where we see at least some possibility to be succesfull.
 
5. Our law allows us to transfer up to 3 embryos, but we usually transfer 2 or just 1 embryo.
 
6. IVF treatment costs 900 eur (approx. US$1,135) and ICSI 1.100 eur (approx. US$1,385), plus costs for hormones for therapy.
 
7. That is it
 
8. We charge just tose things, which were preformed. If we do just he punction, we just charge the punction….
 
9. We suggest, that fist you come for introductional meeting and we suggest you the scheme of therapy. You go back home and in following cycle you start with the stimulation and on day 8 of that cycle you come for first ultrasound. In this time, you should be in Slovenia till embryotransfer, which is usually cca 10 days
 
10. You have to deal with this alone.
 
11. From day 8 you have to come for quick ultrasound every 2nd day.
 
12. You buy prescribed medication in pharmacy. You can buy here in Slovenia or back home.
 
13. With ultrasound. I do not understand this question. Maybe you are interested in our ultrasounds. We have Aloka 4.000, GE Voluson 730 expert and GE Voluson E8.
 
14. We see reaction of your ovaries on day 8 of that cycle.
 
15. To your gyneacologist
 
16. Of corse, we are registered by our ministry of health
 
Your conclusion is right. It is very complex issue.
