By the time I got thyroid issues sorted out etc. life just seemed to take over and business was so busy every thing else just seemed to migrate to the back burner. It is certainly worth contacting him and seeing how you feel about his response. It is very convenient for travelling to from the UK, just a short flight away, and when you get there accomodation etc. is cheap.
